Revisiting Knowledge Management System Use

Knowledge Management Systems (KMS) are adopted with the aim of facilitating knowledge flow within organization. However, it is seen that member participation on these platforms limited. The objective this work to identify aspects influence intention seek KMS. Antecedents seeking behaviour were identified through a morphological review literature. A conceptual model was proposed based Decomposed Theory Planned Behaviour. Structural Equation Modelling used assess adequacy model. Results show happens when individual has an intrinsic motivation learn and quality available KMS perceived as having high content value. Interestingly, we find top management no bearing one’s seek. Findings reveal HR activities need people practices, such hiring curious disposition promoting positive behaviour. KM practices focus stimulating curiosity learning amongst members.
